With a 3-octave sound range and 11 to 12 strings, this left-handed oud is perfect for those who prefer utilizing their left hand. Its 6 wire groups create a rich and full sound. The bam wire at the top is tuned to the thick “la” sound called “kaba dügah” in Turkish Music.
The Turkish Left Hand Oud’s bridge to nut measures 59 cm, bowl measures 48 cm, and width measures 37 cm. Closer string placement to the fingerboard enhances ease of playability. This instrument comes with extra strings, a plectrum, and a soft case.
